Moontime Awakening Ceremony

“MOONTIME AWAKENING CEREMONY”

A beautiful experience in remembering what it means to be Woman.

Imagine how your life may have been different if you had been welcomed into a circle of wise women when you first got your period, and began cycling with the moon – women who you could talk to about anything during your teens and twenties as you entered into your womanhood, women who shared their life experiences & who nurtured your potential as positive role models.

* For women who never received a Rites of Passage Ceremony at the onset of their first period
* For women who wish to experience a sacred initiation into womanhood
* A beautiful opportunity to heal any wounds regarding yourself as a woman
* Learn about the influences of the moon, seasons, planets and cosmic cycles
* Discover how traditional cultures honoured a maiden’s journey into womanhood
* Explore the different phases of the feminine ~Maiden~Mother~Enchantress~Wise Woman
* Find out how to encorporate sacred women’s mysteries into your life so you can embrace your mystical moontime (your period) rather than dread it!

This Moontime Awakening Ceremony is for women who never received a Rites of Passage Ceremony at the onset of their first period, as an initiation into womanhood. This is a beautiful opportunity to reclaim your inherent feminine power by healing any wounds surrounding yourself as a woman. You will be guided in a safe and sacred space by an experienced facilitator, Amanda Pippos, and will learn about the moon mysteries in a traditional Native American Tipi, amongst a beautiful bush setting, with a variety of women from all walks of life. You will gain a deeper understanding of your cyclical nature and how you as an energetic being are connected to the larger cycles such as lunar, seasonal, planetary and cosmic cycles.

You will also learn how traditional cultures honour a maiden’s journey into womanhood, as well as how their moontime (menstruation) was celebrated from a mystical perspective, so that you can further embrace the gifts that time of the month has to offer. This includes discussion of sacred women’s mysteries and how this relates to our menstrual cycle. Also covered are the different phases of the feminine including the maiden, mother, enchantress and wise woman.

The Ceremony is inclusive of all faiths and philosophies.
This Ceremony is open to all women from 16 years of age.

Amanda’s background includes 17 years as a consulting therapist with hypnotherapy, counselling and naturopathy as her main modalities. Winter Solstice Dream Weaving

WINTER SOLSTICE DREAM WEAVING

Have you got the winter blues?
Are you feeling low on energy?
Lost all your enthusiasm?
Need to spark up your focus on your goals & dreams?

A magical time is upon us when in the depths of the winter spell…
Tis an opportunity to harness the wisdom held within the darkness of the season, and oft within ourselves.
Winter.
A time for introspection. For slowing down. For taking stock.
And a time for letting go, of what we no longer need.

Winter Solstice heralds the coming of the light, as the longest night of the year precedes the beginning of the days getting longer again.
We are sparked with inspiration and growth with the faith of the coming sun. Increased Vitamin D produces more seratonin, and we start to get our mojo back again!

Winter Solstice is therefore a wonderful time to set intentions for the coming cycle and to begin weaving our energy towards our goals and dreams.

So come and join me in the Tipi for this two day workshop held over two consecutive Sundays where you will be guided to weave your dreams into reality, through meditation, manifesting techniques and crafting your own Dream Catcher.

When: Sunday 18th & 25th June
Time: 10.30am – 5pm
Where: Healesville (Address given upon booking)
Investment: $240 Concession: $180
(All materials are provided)

** Please bring a nutritious plate of food to share for lunch
(Afternoon tea with chai, tea and coffee provided)
** BRING YOUR OWN BOTTLE OF WATER TO DRINK

WHAT YOU WILL GAIN
* Dream analysis & interpretation
* Tools & techniques to keep your Dreams & goals alive
* Understanding of the different levels of consciousness
* Empowerment during the dark times of winter
* How to harness the Winter Solstice energy
* Confidence to pursue your Dreams
* Creation of your own Dream Catcher

You will learn about the power of Dreaming, and how your subconscious mind governs 90% of what and how you manifest.

Understand and interpret your dreams, nightmares or recurring dreams.

Awaken your potential and self belief through meditation and art therapy in a warm, fun and welcoming environment.

Learn how to make a Dream Catcher – a beautiful crafted symbolic art piece of your own making. Originating from the Native American tribes, the Dream Catcher was said to be hung above or near where one sleeps, where it will trap any negative dreams, and only allows the positive dreams to pass through. In the morning as the sun rises, the sunlight transmutes and dissolves away the trapped dreams in the web. (All materials will be provided, but you are welcome of course to bring your own pieces to decorate your Dream Catcher, such as beads, feathers etc).

Your experience takes place in a traditional Native American 20 ft Tipi set in the Yarra Valley. The course runs over two Sundays, one before the Winter Solstice and one after the Solstice.

Traditionally the Red Tent was a place where women would gather to share in their feminine wisdom, gifts and insights, for the purpose of self growth & healing, as well as helping their families and for the greater good of their tribes & community. This would occur at the dark of the moon (new moon) where the Moon is in shadow from the Sun by the Earth. It therefore offers us the opportunity to access our shadow aspects within our subconscious mind, as well as being the time when our intuition is at its most heightened.

Women inherently know the psychological and energetic benefits from gathering with like minded women. It is an opportunity to reconnect with your inner self, to share & be supported in a sisterhood of exchanged knowledge, insights, gifts, wisdom, meditation, laughter & art, all within a safe and sacred space, while consciously journeying with the cycles of the moon, and universe.

These sacred circles are held for ALL women from 16 yrs of age, no matter what nationality, religion or belief. It’s about women from all walks of life coming together to share on common ground.

Every Red Tent will provide you with a deep sense of nourishment that will fuel your soul & fill you up…. So get your shoes off and come along to journey with us in a traditional Native American tipi, with a variety of beautiful women, as we share together in our feminine wisdom.

WHY GATHER ON THE FULL MOON?

Many are currently feeling more than ever the pull towards gathering amongst like minded souls in a sense of community.

These Full Moon gatherings are an opportunity for sharing in a safe and sacred space for the purpose of reconnecting with your divine and authentic sacred nature, as well as with like minded souls. The space invites you to be YOU! There is encouragement of individuality and support in finding your way home to that comfortable, content feeling of just feeling okay to be you.

Being a mixed lodge allows us to commune with our opposite, and through sharing and understanding the opposite sex, we are gifted opportunities to further embrace and heal any wounds surrounding the feminine and masculine energies within ourselves. When balanced, this results in an inner state of Sacred Union. This union, or healing within ourselves literally changes our vibration, or the energy that we transmit and receive. It is scientifically proven that transforming old beliefs in the subconscious, which consequently changes the “feeling” surrounding deep emotional wounds, actually activates neuro-transmitters in the brain which physiologically alter the bio-molecular structure of the brain. This change can bring about healing upon many various levels of one’s being, and thus the individual begins to resonate with a different energy. And this internal change begins to reflect in one’s relationships with others. That is, when one heals wounds surrounding issues with females or males, we begin to attract different people into our life. This reflects the healing in our self. If one continues to attract the same old unwanted pattern of relationship into their life however, it indicates that the wound has not been addressed or is in need of additional attention.

The reason for running these healing circles on the full moon, is to harness and consciously flow with the larger cycles of the cosmos. We are cyclical beings, and live in a cyclical world, and when in unison, energies tend to flow more fluidly.
Being that the moon controls the ocean tides across the planet, it is true that human beings, composed of mostly water, are also affected by the moon. It has an intricate and powerful influence upon our emotions, the feminine aspect of our being. And on a full moon, the Sun, representing the masculine energy, shines it’s light upon la Lunar, highlighting the current associated emotional aspects. It sheds light on emotional aspects that we can celebrate in ourselves, as well as highlight what needs to be released so that we can shine more brightly. The energy of the Full Moon offering us the opportunity to shine our brightest light, gives us permission to celebrate BEING our selves. The proceeding waning of the moon allows us to begin to release that which no longer serves us, so that we may allow room to invite in the new energies.

Cycling with the energies of the cosmos therefore allows us to flow through life with more ease & grace.

BRING YOUR DRUMS & PERCUSSION INSTRUMENTS for a jamming drum circle afterwards! (Weather & energy permitting!)

Please Note there is no nudity or sexual practices at these events.

Also please note, as this event is out doors, there may be occasions where the Tipi is unable to be used due to weather conditions or maintenance. In the event that this should occur, the shed space will be used instead.
